While in many ways the shafts look similar to the 314-2 3C the entire front end of the shaft has been re-engineered. Predator used all-new materials and construction to create an even more accurate and consistent playing experience. This new construction not only makes the shaft more precise, but also affords players the ability to generate more velocity and rotation of their cue ball.
Every component, ranging from each of their ten splices to the tip has been enhanced, modified and re-engineered to be more accurate and more consistent than ever. The entire front-end construction of each Vantage shaft is new and features Predator’s patent pending V-Tek Vault-Plate Technology to re-configure the stress points between the tip, tip silencer, ferrule, and splices. The stronger V-TEK Ferrule Construction and the V-TEK Fiber Tip Silencing. This all new construction provides the shafts increased strength and stiffness with less front-end mass. The Vantage 3C’s Taper, diameter& length was developed and tested with the input of top professionals and champions including; Torbjörn Blomdahl and Sung-Won Choi.
iMatch is Predator's patented process in which every single triangle is tested for density, mass, and stiffness for optimum pairing resulting in better shaft consistency and playability. Hand selected and kiln dried, only the highest grade North American Maple goes into every Predator Shaft.
The Vantage 3C is somewhat stiffer in feel than the original 314-2 3C and provides increased velocity and higher spin rates with less effort. Carom players can more efficiently generate both velocity and spin while maintaining low-deflection accuracy.
Nobody likes buzz, that negative feedback you get when you hit with a sub-par cue. The technology of the Vantage shaft eliminates that vibration, so you get pure, positive feedback on every shot and you can play with the confidence that comes from a sturdy, solid feel. Bad vibes are a thing of the past.
